Centennial Scholarship-NCSU

The North Carolina Textile Foundation has invited NCSSM to nominate outstanding seniors—interested in pursuing degree programs through the Wilson College of Textiles at NC State—for the Centennial Scholars Program. Students interested in engineering, business management, apparel or textile design, chemistry, polymers, forensics, medical fields, fashion merchandising and retail management as they pursue degrees in Fashion and Textile Design, Fashion Development and Product Management, and Brand Management and Marketing, Polymer and Color Chemistry, Textile Engineering, or Textile Technology are encouraged to apply.

Centennial Scholars are selected on the basis of demonstrated high academic achievement throughout high school, proven and potential leadership, active participation in extracurricular activities, interests in a Wilson College of Textiles degree, and career aspirations and contributions that will enhance the industry or society.

There are several scholarships available through the Centennial Scholars Program. Please visit the Centennial Scholarship website to read information about the different scholarships. There is only one application for all scholarships for incoming first-year students; by being endorsed, students are automatically eligible to apply for the Centennial, Pioneer, NCTF Distinguished Merit and Prestige Scholarship.

Students who wish to be considered for nomination by NCSSM should submit the online nomination application no later than Friday, October 30 at 12pm.

Please note: students applying for this scholarship must submit their admission application by November 1 to be considered for this scholarship.
