Calm: Calm is an award-winning mindfulness app that's available for iOS, Android, and desktop. The app features hundreds of calming exercises, helpful breathing techniques, and sleep stories narrated by celebrities like Matthew McConaughey and Idris Elba.
Headspace: Headspace is a mindfulness app with an easy-to-use interface that takes the seriousness and intimidation out of meditation.The app was co-founded by Andy Puddicombe, a former Buddhist monk who narrates a majority of the guided meditations. Although meditation itself is rooted in Eastern Buddhist tradition, Headspace isn’t tied to any singular religious identity.
Shine: Founded by two women of color on a mission to make taking care of your mental health easier, more representative, and more accessible, Shine is your space for daily self-care. It inspires users to look after their mental health with the help of meditation, gratitude exercises and journaling. The app sends users new motivational messages and articles daily, as well as a meditation session.
