The NCSSM Alumni Association invites you to apply for the 11th Annual Alumni Scholarship Award: $1,000 – $2,000 scholarships to be applied towards tuition and fees at the winner's chosen college or university.
The award represents a general commitment from NCSSM alumni to support each other and a recognition of an individual graduating senior who best exemplifies the spirit of NCSSM.
ABOUT THE SCHOLARSHIP
As part of its service to the school, the Alumni Association awards a scholarship to a graduating senior who best exemplifies the spirit upon which the school was founded. The award goes to the student, who in the opinion of the alumni scholarship selection committee best:
serves the NCSSM and/or greater North Carolina community
takes advantage of NCSSM's unique opportunities
demonstrates leadership
works hard to accomplish goals
The award winner is someone who has shown a high level of academic performance, and whose involvement has benefited both themselves and the school around them. This is the student for which NCSSM was created, and the alumni wish to recognize the student’s contributions and achievements.
The application is due this Thursday, April 28th, at 11:59 PM ET and the winner will be announced in mid-May.
